Carpentry Camp

For AGES 5-8

Campers will be introduced to the basics of carpentry with licensed Wake County Carpentry Teacher, Carl Robbins (a.k.a. Carl the Carpenter).  This camp will include topics such as woodshop safety, PPE (personal protective equipment), an introduction to construction math using the tape measure, basic hand tools and best practices.  This is a hands-on camp and all lessons will be taught while campers build two of their very own window box herb gardens.  Activities include, but not limited to, measuring, cutting, adhering, and finishing the herb garden box with a faux-wood stain.

Please send your child with sunscreen and a labeled water bottle each day.
