Use wooden blocks to recreate your favorite minibeasts. Ask someone else to guess what you made.

Elementary (ages 5-10)
SCIENCE
In the video, we learned about invertebrates (animals with no internal skeleton or backbone). List as many invertebrates as you can, preferably ones you may have spotted around the yard. Try to come up with at least 20. Go through each one and guess if it’s a bug, insect or minibeast. Ask an adult to help you verify your answers.
Make a poster to show what you should and should not feed the worms! Place the poster somewhere visible so the whole family can see and help collect the proper scraps to feed your worms.
